| | yesterday, after yet another tryst meeting, i decided that whenever something crazy happens or soap opera-like or dramatic or twists and turns occur, that i would just say 'hey, kind of like presidential election '08' or i'd just call it an 'election '08'.
after the announcement of sarah palin as the republican VP, i stopped watching the race. my jaw dropped at the selection and my mind suddenly went to soap opera scenes where something HUGE just happens and theres dramatic close ups of every person involved with intense music playing. that's what happened through my eyes when that announcement was made.
i got tired of the election. i'm a bit tired of the gimicks and talk and bashing and nonsense, actually, on both sides. its destroying my thought process in my vote and filling my head with bullshit. i'm done watching right now. i'm just gonna read from now on. i want someone to say more life-giving and positive things... building up the country's hope for the future and the goodness they intend upon instead of tearing down the other party or mistakes that have been made. stop bashing. just do.
i hate politics. i mean soap operas.
